Nybro Glasbruk is the sole remaining glassworks in Sweden where glass exclusively is made according to old-fashioned moulding methods. The whole process takes place by hand - unlike the pressing technique which is nowadays fully mechanised and automated. Moulding glass by hand requires immense skill and very high quality of both melted glass and design. Hand-moulded glass is often characterised by minor individual variations, which give it special charm and distinction.
